Meet the team

John Adair

John is currently a Managing Member of KV Catalyst IM LLC.  From 2008 until 2013 he served as Managing Director and Joint-Head of Equities for the Asia-Pacific region for Nomura, responsible for the entire equities business across all products regionally. Mr. Adair joined Nomura in 2007 as Co-Head of Asia-Pacific Equity Sales in conjunction with Nomura’s acquisition of Lehman’s Asian Equities business. Mr. Adair was a member of the Nomura Asia Executive Management Committee, Asia-Pacific Equities Operating Committee, and Global Equities Executive Committee.

Prior to joining Lehman in 2007, Mr. Adair spent eight years at Goldman Sachs as Head of Pan Asian Execution Services and six years at Warburg Dillon Read as Head of Asian Equities Sales Trading. He began his career at Price Waterhouse before joining Morgan Stanley to focus on finance.

Mr. Adair holds a degree in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University and received his CPA qualification in 1992.

Justin Milberg

Justin is currently a Managing Member of KV Catalyst IM LLC. Previously, he served as a Portfolio Manager of the Resource Real Estate Diversified Income Fund from February 2017 through May 2020. Mr. Milberg also served as the Fund’s President beginning in July 2017. Mr. Milberg served as Chief Operating Officer, Resource Liquid Alternatives (a business unit of Resource America) from November 2014 to July 2018 and President starting in July 2018. Mr. Milberg joined Resource America in April of 2012 with the title of Managing Director, Resource Financial Fund Management.

Prior to joining Resource America, Mr. Milberg was a Managing Director of the Financial Institutions Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from March 2005 until July 2011. Mr. Milberg was a Managing Director at Lazard Freres from April 2002 until March 2005. He previously held positions with Kidder Peabody and Wasserstein Perella.

Mr. Milberg earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business.
